Our Values

Neurodiversity: neurodiversity (brain diversity) is a natural part of being human, just like skin colour, gender, sexual orientation, etc. The principle of neurodiversity is that everyone has the right to equality, respect and full participation in society, regardless of neurotype. To achieve this, we take into account both the individual's ability to function and the impact of the environment on the individual's status. The neurodiversity movement is particularly concerned with the equality of the neurodivergent minority.
Equality: all people are equal. All people are equal. All people are equal. To achieve this, both the individual's ability to function and the environment and their interactions must be taken into account. The individual's intersecting identities (intersectionality) must also be taken into account. Everyone is equal.
Community: belonging to a community is a basic need for everyone. We create safe and accepting communities where people from the neuro-diverse minority can feel valued and empowered. We know that changing the world requires collaboration and dialogue, so we work together with different actors to achieve our common goals and create a better, neuro-empowering world.
Involvement: involement means that everyone can feel part of the team, actively participate and contribute to their lives and to society. The practical means are in place to ensure that all members of the neuro-diverse minority can participate and are involved on their own terms. We strive to create spaces where everyone can grow and develop without fear of shame or judgement, and where compassion guides our actions. We monitor the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and other legislation and the interests of the neuro-disadvantaged minority in legislation, employment, education and services.
